Prologue

In the world of art, we are often bound by traditional concepts. Oil painting is renowned for its rich texture and depth, watercolors captivate with their transparency and fluid colors, while ink strives for the unique charm of ink tones and the strength of lines. However, I am not satisfied with immersing myself in the limitations of these individual mediums. I aim to merge them together, creating a more diverse and rich visual effect. It is this fusion of mediums that gives my work its unique artistic charm.

The creation of Zhong Ling’s Neo-Experientialism in art is not only a reflection on the development of modern art but also a subversion and reconstruction of traditional artistic concepts.
In an era when contemporary art has reached its peak and various art movements are emerging, Zhong Ling has keenly identified the pain points and confusion in artistic creation, actively proposing new ways of thinking and practicing in art.

From new logical experiences to new structural experiences, Zhong Ling has gradually explored nine areas of thought over the years through theory and practice, offering rich and comprehensive inspiration for art creators.

By breaking away from traditional logical frameworks, he envisions guiding viewers to understand art through new modes of cognition and thinking paths. Through the integration of contemporary elements, he has crafted an artistic expression aligned with today’s social context, making art more relatable to people’s lives and emotional experiences. By reconstructing the structure of artworks, he presents more complex and diverse artistic forms, endowing art with deeper meanings and layers of interpretation.

The value of Zhong Ling’s art lies not only in its formal innovation and breakthroughs but also in its emotional and intellectual impact on people. He hopes to create an open, inclusive, and innovative artistic space through collaboration with his peers, allowing art to truly become a source of solace and nourishment for the human soul.

1. New Logic Experience: Breaking free from and transcending traditional logical frameworks, exploring entirely new cognitive patterns and pathways.

The first hallmark of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the creation of a new logic experience. This signifies that artists are no longer confined to traditional artistic logic frameworks. Through breaking existing modes of thought and creative rules, they explore entirely new cognitive patterns and pathways. This exploration of new logic not only brings a refreshing perspective but also opens up broader possibilities for artistic creation. From abstraction to concretion, from rationality to emotionality, Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is dedicated to breaking traditional boundaries, leading audiences into a completely new artistic domain.

2. New Cognitive Experience: Challenging conventional thinking patterns, guiding individuals to perceive the world from entirely new perspectives.

The second feature of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new cognitive experience, which implies that artists must challenge existing thought patterns in order to lead individuals to perceive the world from entirely new perspectives. Through the messages and emotions conveyed in their works, they stimulate viewers' thoughts and imagination, enabling them to gain spiritual enlightenment and satisfaction while appreciating artistic works, as well as fostering a habit of striving to break free from entrenched modes of thinking. This entirely new cognitive experience not only broadens people's horizons but also serves as a bridge between art and real life.

3. New Contemporary Experience: Integrating contemporary elements to create artistic expressions that resonate with the current societal context.

The third characteristic of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new contemporary experience, which indicates that artists incorporate contemporary societal elements into their artistic creations, crafting expressions that align with the current societal backdrop. They focus on the hot-button issues and cultural phenomena of contemporary society, presenting observations and reflections on modern life through their works, prompting viewers to engage in deeper contemplation and discourse on societal realities. This new contemporary experience endows art with a greater sense of timeliness and relevance, fostering a closer connection and resonance with the audience. As a result, viewers are encouraged to bravely challenge their habitual thought boundaries, leading to personal growth and enlightenment.

4. New Abstract Experience: Reinterpreting abstract art, endowing works with richer connotations and emotions.

The fourth characteristic of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new abstract experience, which means that artists reinterpret abstract art, giving works richer connotations and emotions. They no longer confine themselves to traditional forms of abstract expression but, through various media and techniques, explore more diverse and enriched modes of abstract expression. This new abstract experience not only provides viewers with more aesthetic enjoyment but also imbues artworks with deeper levels of meaning and emotion.

5. New Sensory Experience: Guiding viewers into the artwork, experiencing immersive emotional resonances.

The fifth characteristic of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new sensory experience, which means that artists lead viewers into the artwork, allowing them to experience immersive emotional resonances. Through subtle expressive techniques and emotional conveyance, they prompt viewers to resonate and emotionally connect with the artwork, thereby sensing the intrinsic emotions and meanings conveyed by the work. This new sensory experience not only makes artworks more compelling and impactful but also provides viewers with a deeper and richer artistic experience.

6. New Color Experience: Using trendy fashion colors to create strong visual impact and emotional resonance.

The sixth characteristic of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new color experience, which means that artists utilize trendy fashion colors to create strong visual impact and emotional resonance. Through the combination and application of colors, they craft works with powerful visual impact, triggering emotional resonance and inner aesthetic enjoyment in viewers. This new color experience not only enriches the expressive forms of artworks but also makes them more vivid and attractive.

7. New Structural Experience: Reconstructing the structure and form of artworks, showcasing purer and more diverse artistic forms.

The seventh characteristic of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new structural experience, which implies that artists reconstruct the structure and form of artworks, presenting purer and more diverse artistic forms. They break free from traditional patterns of artwork structure and boldly experiment with new compositions and expressive techniques, resulting in works that exhibit richer and more varied artistic forms. This new structural experience not only brings viewers more aesthetic enjoyment but also injects new vitality and creativity into artistic creation.

8. New Expressive Experience: Exploring diverse modes of expression to make artworks more expressive and impactful.

The eighth characteristic of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new expressive experience, which means that artists explore various ways of expression to make artworks more expressive and impactful. They utilize different media and techniques to create works with strong expressive power, eliciting resonance and contemplation from viewers. This new expressive experience not only makes artworks more vivid and compelling but also provides viewers with a broader mental space and an experience of exploring the boundaries of thought.

9. New Constructive Experience: Constructing the internal relationships of artworks to present a more unified and complete artistic world.

The ninth characteristic of Ling Zhong's New Experiential Artistic Thought System is the new constructive experience, which means that artists construct the internal relationships of artworks to present a more unified and complete artistic world. Through the connections and resonances between works, they build a cohesive and rich artistic system, allowing viewers to gain a deeper and more comprehensive artistic experience while appreciating the works. This attempt at new construction not only endows artworks with internal logic and coherence but also provides viewers with a richer and more engaging artistic journey.
